We have a lively, enthusiastic patient participation group (PPG) who meet in person each month. We believe that the group is invaluable in acting as an interface between patients and the practice, working proactively to improve services.

The aims of the group are:

• To generate ideas to improve patient experience
• To feedback suggestions for improvement e.g. patient services/organisation

We are looking for a wide range of people of all ages to participate in the group, including patients with children, carers, patients with long-term medical conditions, patients with disabilities and patient who regularly use the service.

We are keen to set up a ‘virtual patient participation group’ for patients who would like to participate but do not have time to attend meetings.

The group would like to contact patients on occasion by email and/or text so that they can obtain the views of the widest group of patients possible.
